Introduction

The Bot Goals feature in Pest AI is a major enhancement to the existing Configure Intent functionality, allowing users to customize and update prompts for new or existing bots with greater flexibility. This feature introduces streamlined bot management and customization options, including future capabilities like Trigger a Workflow and Update Contact Info for enhanced automation.

Additionally, the former Bot Trial feature has been seamlessly integrated as Test Your Bot within the Bot Goals framework, offering a unified and user-friendly experience.

Key Updates in the New Bot Goals Feature

1. Support for Multiple Bots:
   The updated version allows you to create and manage multiple bots, unlike the previous version, which supported only one bot.

   • Example: You can create one bot for handling general inquiries and another bot solely for scheduling appointments, ensuring tailored responses for specific purposes.

2. Integrated Features:
   The previously separate Bot Trial feature is now part of the Bot Goals or Bot Training tabs, making bot testing and refinement more accessible.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Bot Goals Feature

• Start by creating a new bot or selecting an existing bot in Pest AI.

• For new bots, assign a unique name before proceeding.

Step 2: Explore the Bot Interface

Upon selecting or creating your bot, you'll encounter three tabs:

1. Bot Settings: Unchanged from the previous version.

2. Bot Training: Functions the same as before.

3. Bot Goals: The newly added feature that houses customization options, including:

   • Current capabilities: Prompt editing and appointment booking enhancements.

   • Upcoming features: Workflow triggers and contact information updates.

  • For each goal, you’ll need to:

     • New functionality includes Transfer Employee Post Appointment Booking, which allows seamless handover to another bot after an appointment is scheduled.

     • Select the next bot from a dropdown menu for continued interaction.

     Enable bots to capture and update contact details directly during conversations.

Step 4: Finalizing the Bot

• Once you’ve configured prompts and features in the Bot Goals tab, click Save.

• Your bot is now live, equipped with customized goals and ready to deliver an enhanced user experience.
