How to Send a Facebook Message

1. Click 'Conversations' to start messaging.

To compose a Facebook message, you must access the conversation thread where you wish to send the message. Navigate to the "Inbox" tab on the left-hand side and choose the conversation you want to open.

2. Now, select the 'FB Messenger DM' tab.

Select the "FB Message" button to begin composing a Facebook message. Note that you can respond to contacts who have sent you a message from your Business Page, and there's a 7-day window rule by Facebook. This window resets after the contact replies back.

3. Next, add attachments if needed.

To include a file in your Facebook message, click the Attachments button.

4. Want to use emojis? Add them now!

To include emojis in your Facebook message, click the Happy Face icon.

5. Insert a template for quicker messaging.

Insert pre-made templates to compose Facebook messages quickly or respond to contacts without starting from scratch.

6. Optionally, request a payment.

Click this button to request a payment from your contact. The system generates a payment link and automatically inserts it into your Facebook message once the payment steps are completed.

7. Personalize your message to make it special.

8. Finally, hit 'Send' to deliver your message.
