When creating coupons, it's important to use clear and distinguishable names. While it's not mandatory for each coupon to have a unique name, doing so can significantly aid in their identification and management.
Guidelines for Naming Coupons:
Descriptive Names: Choose names that clearly reflect the discount provided, such as "SummerSale2023" or "10PercentOff".
Simplicity: Opt for straightforward names that are easy to understand, avoiding the use of special characters or complex symbols.
Unique Identifiers: Incorporate unique elements like dates or specific location codes to enhance tracking and organization, such as "July2023Discount" or "NYCStoreOffer".
By adhering to these naming conventions, you’ll ensure your coupons are easily identifiable and manageable.
There are two primary coupon formats available for providing discounts:
Percentage Coupon: This coupon provides a discount based on a percentage of the total order value.
Fixed Coupon: This coupon grants a specific dollar amount off, irrespective of the total order value.
Select the type of coupon that aligns best with your promotional strategy to present compelling deals to your customers.
If the checkbox is marked, enter "the total number of times the coupon can be redeemed."
Limiting Coupon Redemptions: You can specify a cap on how many times the coupon can be successfully used. This count only includes successful redemptions, not the number of users attempting to use the code. The list view will show the cumulative number of successful redemptions to date.
If the checkbox is marked, select "Product."
Limit Coupon to Specific Products: This option allows you to confine the coupon's applicability to particular products. For instance, if you designate Product A, the coupon will be valid exclusively for Product A.
