Steps to Connect Your YouTube Account
Access the Social Planner:
Navigate to the marketing section of your dashboard.
Select the option labeled “Social Planner.”
Initiate Google Integration:
Look for the Google Integrations feature within the social planner.
Click on it to begin the connection process.
Authenticate Your Account:
You will be prompted to log into your Google account. Make sure to use the credentials associated with your YouTube channel.
Grant the necessary permissions for the social planner to access your YouTube data.
Select Your YouTube Account:
Once connected, you will see a list of your YouTube accounts (if you have multiple).
Choose the account you want to connect for posting content.
Confirmation:
After selecting your account, confirm the connection. You should now see your YouTube account listed within the social planner.
Create a New YouTube Post:
Navigate to "Create New Post."
Choose the YouTube channel where you want to post.
Enter your video description in the caption, including any hashtags and emojis.
Select either the "Video" or "Shorts" option.
Add a title for your YouTube Video or Short.
Note: When the Shorts option is selected, "#shorts" is automatically appended to the title.
Set the privacy level: Public, Private, or Unlisted.
Optionally, add a follow-up comment to your post.
Schedule your YouTube Video or Short.
Video and Short Dimensions for YouTube:
Users can upload videos and shorts up to 1GB in size.
Thumbnails can be PNG or JPEG and up to 2MB for verified users.
Shorts must be 60 seconds or less and should have a vertical aspect ratio, ideally 9:16.
