Utilizing the Stale Opportunities Trigger in Pest AI

To publish workflows, you must set up both a workflow trigger and a workflow action. Without these elements, you can save the workflow but cannot publish it.

The "Stale Opportunities" trigger in Pest AI is designed to activate when opportunities exceed a set time period, marking them as "stale." You can define this period to automatically prompt actions for opportunities that have not progressed.

Without any specific filter applied, this workflow will trigger automatically for all opportunities in the "open" stage within any pipeline.

Note: Once activated, this workflow executes daily at 8:00 AM.

1. Navigate to the 'Automation' section.

2. Select the Create Workflow button.

3. Choose the Start from Scratch option.

4. Let's add a trigger by clicking Add New Trigger.

5. Select Stale Opportunities from the list.

6. Proceed by clicking Add filters.

7. Choose 'Select' from the dropdown.

8. Click on 'In pipeline' to proceed.

This workflow activates when an opportunity card within a designated pipeline exceeds the specified timeframe, resulting in the opportunity being marked as "Stale".

Choose Select from the dropdown.

9. Add 'Pipeline stage' from the dropdown.

Select the Pipeline Stage option from the resulting list.

10. Select the 'Has Tag' option.

Using the 'Has tag' filter, this workflow will only trigger when an opportunity card tagged with a specific label, is in the 'Open' status within a pipeline, and surpasses the predefined timeframe.

Now, click on Select a tag.

11. Click on 'Doesn't Have Tag'.

When you choose the 'Doesn't have a tag' filter, this workflow will only activate if an opportunity card in the 'Open' status of a pipeline doesn't have any tags and exceeds the set timeframe.

Click on Select a tag to specify a tag.

Choose the lead from the dropdown.

12. Choose the 'Duration in days' option.

The "Duration of Days" filter option triggers a workflow exclusively when an opportunity card exceeds the specified timeframe, thereby classifying the opportunity card as "Stale".

Input the duration in days in the given field.

13. Conclude by clicking on Save Trigger.
