Scenario:
You want the Pest AI Conversation bot to interact only with Contacts who have completed their payment.
Solution Using the "Update Conversation AI Bot and Status" Action:
To achieve this, we’ll configure a workflow that ensures the bot is active only for Contacts with confirmed payment status.
Create a Workflow:
Navigate to the Workflow section in Pest AI.
Click on Create Workflow.
Add Action:
Select the Update Conversation AI Bot and Status action.
Choose the desired bot from the dropdown menu. You can either retain the currently assigned bot or select a different one.
Set the Bot Status to Inactive:
Change the status to Inactive for all Contacts initially.
Publish the Workflow:
Save and Publish the workflow to apply these changes.
Apply to All Contacts:
Go to the Smartlist page in Pest AI.
Select all Contacts and assign them to this workflow. This step ensures that the Conversation bot is inactive for everyone at the outset.
Trigger:
The workflow starts when a Payment Received event is triggered.
Action 1:
Use the Update Conversation AI Bot and Status action.
Set the bot status to Active for Contacts who have completed payments.
Action 2:
If necessary, you can add additional follow-up actions, such as sending a confirmation email or triggering another workflow to notify your team.
